Your new Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Retail Operations Manager to join our team in Abbotsford. In this role you will support retail operations through the development and maintenance of operational support tools, ensuring that initiatives are delivered in a safe, sustainable and customer-focused manner, and that processes, programs and policies are in place to drive excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Acting as Retail stakeholder in the strategic direction and development of new initiatives, projects and procedures;
Developing, reviewing and implementing Retail policies and procedures to ensure operational standards and requirements are understood and implemented across the Retail network;
Managing suppliers including compliance, negotiation of favourable terms, relationship and conflict management etc.;
Ensuring stand-alone, concession stores and the Retail Images (brands) are served appropriately for their different needs;
Conducting regular store visits to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies; and
Providing Store teams with operational and system support.
We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager with proven project management success in a similar role. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding and background in Retail store operations, policies, and procedures to be instrumental in driving change as part of exciting upcoming projects.
Ideally you will have:
Strong Project management experience from initial justification through to implementation and evaluation;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Proven organisational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritise effectively;
The ability to quickly learn and understand business processes and offer creative solutions to problems;
An open mindset for new ways of working, an ability to adapt, being curious, challenge the status quo, and focus delivery on value.
