Your next opportunity
As a leader within our People & Culture Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the recruitment strategy, talent attraction, building a talent pipeline, managing candidate experience, building strong relationships and developing capability of hiring leads, and continuously looking at ways to improve the way of working.
This role will allow you to own the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and be a trusted talent advisor to the Head of HR on industry best practice. Whilst building strong talent pipelines is your main focus, there will also be broader People & Culture initiatives to become involved in.
You will be responsible for
- Leading the end-to-end Talent Acquisition function across all divisions; Retail, Support Office and the Distribution Centre
- Training, coaching and developing the team of Talent Acquisition Specialists
- Leading by example with a hands-on approach, engaging with stakeholders to manage the end-to-end recruitment for senior and/or complex roles
- Creating and implementing progressive recruitment and attraction strategies
- Being the custodian of the employer branding including the careers website, social media channels as well as other avenues for sourcing and branding opportunities
- Working with the business to understand the future talent requirements to ensure that we have the right talent at the right time
- Building out proactive candidate pipelines through talent pooling using innovative ideas
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and projects around recruitment capability, processes and systems
- Providing quality talent metrics and analysis to support the planning process and sharing actionable insights to stakeholders
As a successful candidate, you will have
- Demonstrated experience in internal Talent Acquisition or similar role
- Significant exposure to managing multiple recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Well networked across the Retail industry, keeping abreast of global best practice in Talent Acquisition
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst effectively communicating and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders
- Detailed knowledge in, and proven skills across, the end-to-end recruitment and selection lifecycle, including best practice tools and methodology
- A natural flair for communication and customer service will see you facilitate hiring manager education sessions to achieve great hiring outcomes
- Strong relationship building and management skills, including the ability to influence leaders at a senior level in an organisation
- Proven time management, organisational and communication skills
