Job Description
Munro Footwear Group (MFG) has an exciting role for a DC Compliance Manager to join our Distribution Centre (DC) team. In this role, you'll ensure all Distribution Centre operations meet the industry standards for safe work and warehouse management.
What You'll Do
- Engage and lead team through business changes, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of strategic projects in accordance with business objectives.
- Ensure all DC Operations meets industry best practice of safe working and warehouse management tracking including fulfillment, moving, storage etc. are captured by all relevant operating systems.
- Overall management of QA reporting is maintained and accurate records of quality control assessments, inspection results, and corrective actions taken, ensuring all vendor QA defects or VAS reporting meet business compliance requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHS policies and contribute to the development and implementation of internal structures to support WHS compliance, relevant to a Distribution Centre environment.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Management, or related discipline (preferred).
- 3+ years' experience in a Compliance & Governance role in a Warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated team management experience, leading and driving change to deliver safety, financial and service objectives.
- Strong experience in continuous vendor compliance reporting and improvement within a Distribution environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cycle counts and discrepancy resolutions.
- A strong focus on zero-harm and safety culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
