Job Description

At Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Head of Commercial Finance to lead our Commercial Team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for delivering meaningful insights, driving performance, and supporting executive decision making across the business.

About the role

• Lead and develop a high-performing commercial finance team
• Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning process across all business units
• Deliver insightful and actionable financial analysis to support growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency
• Partner with senior leadership and department heads to influence commercial decision-making
• Build robust models for pricing, profitability, and scenario planning
• Oversee board reporting, monthly performance packs, and executive dashboards
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting and enhance financial visibility
• Ensure strong financial governance and risk management across commercial operations

About you

• CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial finance, ideally manager role
• Proven experience within a retail or FMCG environment - Beneficial
• Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; Power BI and/or ERP system experience highly regarded
• A natural leader who enjoys collaboration, leadership and driving change
