Entry Level Buyer's Assistant | The Trybe | Melbourne Head Office

Job Description

At Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we have an opportunity for a Buyer's Assistant to join our The Trybe team.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic individual to provide operational support to The Trybe Retail Buyer; both administrative and analytical. The successful applicant will assist the Buyer in all facets of the buying process & inventory management, which supports the overall company sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the Buyer in developing merchandise strategies and buy plans across assigned categories
• Manage the full order lifecycle and maintain supplier relationships for proactive outcomes
• Coordinate with Marketing on samples and campaign requirements
• Ensure data integrity across buy plans, reporting, and delivery tracking
• Analyse product, market, and competitor performance to inform decisions
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks

About you

• Clerical and/or admin experience
• Previous experience working in a retail environment – footwear an advantage
• Ability to collaborate with a large volume of internal and external stakeholders
• Qualifications in fashion or business - preferable
• Solid verbal and written communication, with the ability to multitask and prioritise the important tasks for your day
• Excel proficient
• Bring a can-do mindset and a focus on results—driving practical solutions that make a real impact
