Job Description
At Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we're looking for a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to shape and deliver exceptional digital experiences across our ecommerce platforms. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with strategic influence, perfect for a designer who combines UX expertise, visual craft and strong product thinking.
Partnering closely with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and strong commercial outcomes, you'll lead the design of ecommerce experiences, from research and ideation through to polished, production-ready solutions.
With a strong focus on outcome-driven experience design, you'll balance usability, aesthetics and performance to drive conversion, engagement and customer satisfaction. This is a rare opportunity to influence UX/UI strategy while directly impacting product performance in a fast-moving ecommerce environment.
About the role
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design across discovery, research, ideation, prototyping and delivery
- Shape ecommerce journeys that improve conversion, engagement and customer experience
- Translate market research, user insights and data into intuitive, high-impact design solutions
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to align business goals with user needs
- Present and communicate design concepts with confidence and clarity
- Drive experimentation through A/B testing and conversion optimisation practices
- Create scalable, production-ready UI solutions aligned to modern design standard
- Work within agile delivery environments, contributing to backlog planning and prioritisation
- Champion user-centred design thinking across cross-functional teams
About you
- 8+ years' experience in a Product Designer (UX/UI) role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ecommerce or conversion-focused product design
- Advanced understanding of user-centred design principles and modern design practices
- Proven experience building, maintaining and governing design systems
- Deep knowledge of market research and translating insights into design outcomes
- Advanced skills in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Strong experience with A/B testing, experimentation and conversion optimisation
- Experience running user testing initiatives and applying insights to improve product outcomes
- Comfortable working autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Agile mindset with strong stakeholder communication skills
